Circuit and Municipal Divisions
Pineville's official municipal court page states that Pineville Municipal Division is a division of the 40th Judicial Circuit and provides a forum for alleged violations of Pineville ordinances. Anderson's official rights page likewise identifies Anderson Municipal Court as a division of the McDonald County Circuit Court. This matters because a traffic ticket or bench warrant may not be a county-level criminal case even though the court is still within the circuit system.
